# Bank Integrations: Connect Your Accounts to Sintropix

> Connect bank accounts and payment platforms across your LATAM entities to feed live transaction data into Sintropix for reconciliation and reporting.

Your cash position is only as accurate as the data behind it. Sintropix connects directly to banks and payment platforms across Latin America and the United States, pulling in transactions automatically so your reconciliation queue, cash balances, and Financial Snapshot stay up to date without manual imports or CSV uploads.

## Supported Banks and Payment Accounts

Sintropix supports direct integrations with the following institutions:

| Provider            | Countries        | Connection Method                 |

If your bank is not listed here, contact your Sintropix account team. Additional institutions are added regularly, and manual CSV import is available as a fallback while a native connector is in development.

## What Bank Data Includes

When Sintropix connects to a bank account, it imports the following data for every transaction:

* **Date** — the posting date as reported by the bank
* **Amount and currency** — the transaction amount in the account's native currency
* **Description** — the raw memo or narration from the bank statement
* **Counterparty** — payee or payer name where provided by the bank
* **Account balance** — running balance after each transaction

Sintropix uses this data to drive the automatic reconciliation engine. Every imported bank transaction becomes a line item in your reconciliation queue, where it is matched against invoices, payroll entries, expense reports, and manual journal entries. Unmatched transactions are flagged for your review.

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Transaction History

On the first connection, Sintropix imports up to **12 months of historical transactions** from the connected account. The exact history available depends on the bank — some providers limit historical access to 3 or 6 months via their open banking API.

Historical transactions feed directly into your reconciliation backlog, letting you catch up on past periods without re-entering data manually. Once the initial import is complete, Sintropix syncs new transactions on a rolling basis, typically every few hours during business days.

<Tip>
  Connect all bank accounts across every entity — including payment platforms like Mercado Pago and Mercury — to get a complete, consolidated cash picture in the Financial Snapshot dashboard. Partial coverage means your Cash and Runway metrics will not reflect all available funds, which can lead to inaccurate burn calculations.
